game "Puss n Boots Pero's Great Adventure" is loading.....
The Puss n Boots NES game was released in 1990. It was released by the company Electro Brain. This game was developed loosely around the ideas found in the book "Around the World in Eighty Days." The main character is a cat named Pero. The character Pero is based on the cat in the popular folktale "Puss in Boots."
In the game, Pero has been hired by Count Gruemon to destroy a mouse that is in his castle. Pero is kind and befriends the mouse instead, helping it get away. Out of anger, the Count and his scientist friend, Dr. Gari-gari send Pero on a journey to the past and around the world. Pero must find them and use the time machine to get back to his own time. On top of Pero's troubles, the Cat Kingdom is after him for helping a mouse.
The Puss n Boots NES game is single player and most levels are side scrolling. You start with three lives and you can continue three times. After that, you must start back at the first level. Pero has three weapons he can use, a gun, a bomb and a boomerang. The game is broken up into seven stages of game play. The stages take place all over the world. The point of each stage is simply to make it to the end. There are bosses that must be defeated at the end of some stages. The final stage is in New York, and you must defeat both Dr. Gari-gari and Count Gruemon.
