Nintendo game - Solomon's Key

Tecmo developed the Solomons Key NES game in 1987. It has been regarded as one of the most difficult of all the NES games. It is a single player puzzle game that incorporates some elements of platform shooters. Throughout the game, there are a number of secret levels and hidden items. The ending of the game will vary just a little based upon any secret levels that the player discovers and completes. There are 15 secret levels in the game.

The main character is a fairy named Dana who has been sent to bring back Solomon's Key. The player must make it through 50 rooms of Constellation Space. The levels are divided up into segments, which correspond with each astrological sign. The player gets through the rooms by finding the key that leads to the next room before the time is up. One aspect that makes this particular game so hard is that the player cannot save any progress. It the player makes it to level 49, and then loses their final life, they must start back at the beginning. The final room is known as Solomon's Room.

The Solomons Key NES game is a good choice for someone who has quick reflexes and enjoys solving puzzles. Although the game is typically regarded as one of the most difficult titles for the NES, it makes the game a rewarding challenge for the serious player. The unique play style, mysterious masonic themes and many hidden levels have helped to make this game a classic.
