Street Fighter 2010 Game

While the original Street Fighter NES game released in 1987 followed a two-player competitive fighting genre, Street Fighter 2010 was an entirely different spin-off from the original series franchise.

Street Fighter 2010, which was released in 1990, is a side-scrolling platform game that brings the familiar martial arts action into the field. Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight featured Ken from the original competitive fighting game. In the year 2010, the expert martial artist became a scientist who would artificially improve his physique by implanting cybernetic components referred to as bionics. Ken developed the substance known as cyboplasm that would enhance any living organism. However, this discovery was stolen and his lab partner, Troy, was supposedly killed. This prompted the main protagonist to track the culprit leading him to other planets via the interplanetary transporter.

The two buttons of the NES controller are used for attacking an opponent and jumping over obstacles. Ken has the ability to climb walls and other pole-like structures. His main weapon is his fist that can cause destructive blows while being able to shoot energy projectiles. By pointing the D-pad to the direction as desired, Ken can shoot to every horizontal or vertical direction. Pointing the D-pad downward and releasing an attack would enable Ken to launch the energy projectile from a kick. To shoot enemies at the bottom, the character would have to jump first and then shoot towards the downward direction. Along his journey, Ken could collect power-up capsules that would enhance his energy projectiles by enabling farther reach with more destructive power.
