Nintendo game - The Terminator 2

The Terminator 2 game was made for the NES and follows the plot of the movie released in 1992. You are playing the role of the first Terminator, who is this time out to save a young John Conner from the threat of the T-2000.

The game is platform based, and the action starts right away as you are plunged into the parking lot full of angry bikers, being only able to defend yourself with your bare hands. As the game progresses, you find John Conner, but the T-2000 also finds you, which means some great levels where action is quite thrilling.

The level where the T-2000 is chasing you while driving a semi is nail biting and intense. This is arguably of the best scenes in any video game, and you have to have split second reflexes in order to dodge everything.

John Conner has informed you you cannot kill anybody, just like in the movie, so if you obey his orders, you end up getting a better weapon upgrade. When the final showdown comes, its you versus the T-2000, and guns are not going to cut it. The only way you can kill it is by knocking it into a pit of molten steel.

The Terminator 2 game is a very good replica of the movie. It is fast paced, exciting, and holds true to the storyline. If you like action, try it on for size and see if you can successfully fill the boots of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
